RAJASTHAN : THE LAND OF THE KINGS

Rajasthan had always been theater of lots of battles for defending the land from invasions;  Incoming empires that dominated this land(Huns, Rajput, Moghul)  contributed to form the actual region and to form its cultural and artistic heritage.

After the last invasion from the British Empire, India called for its Indipendence that arrived on 1947 under the guide of the noted Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Rajasthan economy has grown a lot in the last years but problems like redistribution of wealth and environmental protection are still unresolved.

In fact, while being enchanted from the glorious past of Maharajas, such as  massive palaces, tombs and forts, on the other hand there are entire cities without any basic service.

Where now lie great kings, every person has become the king of itself, answering to their needs on their own, trying to do their best for their life while being always smiling.
